Mr. Kitti Wasinondh, Ambassador of Thailand signed the International Coffee Agreement 2007 on behalf of the Thai Government in the presence of Dr. Nestor Osorio Londoo, the Executive Director of the International Coffee Organization, as the Chief Administrative Officer of the Depositary for the International Coffee Agreement (ICA) 2007.

The 2009 Hampton Court Palace Flower Show in the UK  
Seminar on Think Asia, Invest Thailand
During 6-12 July 2009, the Royal Thai Embassy in the UK in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand, London entered gardening competition at Hampton Court Palace Flower Show, the biggest annual flower festival in the UK, attended by around 160,000 visitors and many UK and foreign press. The event is held annually at Hampton Court, an old, famous and historically significant palace built by King Henry VIII, situated in South West London, and being one of its most popular tourist destinations.

The first shipment of Mitr-Lao sugar to the UK Ambassador of Lao PDR to France, Ambassador of Lao PDR to the EU, Minister of Thai Office of Commercial Affairs in London visited Tate & Lyle’s Thames Refinery to witness the discharge of the first shipment of Lao PDR sugar to the EU and learn about refinery and packaging processes at Tate & Lyle’s factory in London.

เมื่อวันที่ 20 – 22 กุมภาพันธ์ 2552 สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงลอนดอนเป็นเจ้าภาพจัดการสัมมนานักเรียนทุน ตามความต้องการของกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ ภูมิภาคยุโรป โดยมีนักเรียนทุนเข้าร่วมการสัมมนา 38 คน จากจำนวนนักเรียนทุนในยุโรปทั้งหมด 54 คน ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ฯพณฯ นายเตช บุนนาค ผู้ช่วยเลขาธิการสภากาชาดไทย อดีตรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ อดีตปลัดกระทรวงการต่างประเทศ และนักเรียนทุนกระทรวงฯ รับเป็นวิทยากรกิตติมศักดิ์ในการสัมมนา

Announcement : Tourist Visa fee exemption from 25 June 2009 - 4 March 2010
Tourist Visa
All foreigners who apply for Tourist Visa at the Royal Thai Embassies and
the Royal Thai Consulates-General worldwide, including eligible foreigners who apply for Visa on Arrival at designated checkpoints, will be exempted from Tourist Visa fee from 25 June B.E. 2552 (2009) to 4 March B.E. 2553(2010)

Such arrangement is for Tourist Visa only
Announcement : New immigration rules
Thai Temple
Passport holders from 41 countries and 1 special administrative region - Hong Kong SAR - are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit. If such foreigners enter the Kingdom at the immigration checkpoints which border neighboring countries, they will be allowed to stay for 15 days each time More details in English version and in Thai version.
