Thai Garden won the Best Show Garden at Hampton Court Flower Show 2010

On 5 July 2010 H.E. Mr. Kitti Wasinondh, Ambassador of Thailand to the UK chaired the opening ceremony of Thai Garden presented by Tourism Authority of Thailand, London, at Hampton Court Flower Show 2010 held in London, UK, during 5-11 July 2010. The Thai Garden won Gold Medal as well as the Best Show Garden, receiving the Tudor Rose Award from the UK Royal Horticultural Society.

Thailand and Red Bull’s Partnership to Promote Amazing Thailand at the British Grand Prix
On 9 July 2010, the Royal Thai Embassy in London in collaboration with Tourism Authority of Thailand, London and Red Bull hosted a reception to launch Thailand and Red Bull’s partnership for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone. The F1 race on Sunday 12 July was won by Red Bull’s Mark Webber, whose car had Amazing Thailand logo and Thai Flag featured beside his cockpit.

The 2nd Thai Festival at Greenwich Park, London
On 12 – 13 June 2010 H.E. Mr. Kitti Wasinondh, Ambassador of Thailand led a mobile consular team to provide passport and consular service to the Thai Community in Dublin, Ireland. The mobile consular received 116 E-passport applications and provide other consular related service for 58 Thai people (such as birth certificate issuance/ document legalization, consular advice, etc.)

On 19-20 June 2010 the Royal Thai Embassy ran a mobile consular service to the Thai Community in Scotland.

On 19-20 June 2010 the Royal Thai Embassy ran a mobile consular service to the Thai Community in Scotland. The event is held at Dhammapadipa Temple in Edinburgh, Scotland. The mobile consular received 136 E-passport applications and offered other consular related service to 44 Thai people (such as birth certificate issuance/ document legalization, consular advice, etc.)

Announcement : Tourist Visa fee exemption from 25 June 2009 - 4 March 2010
Tourist Visa
All foreigners who apply for Tourist Visa at the Royal Thai Embassies and
the Royal Thai Consulates-General worldwide, including eligible foreigners who apply for Visa on Arrival at designated checkpoints, will be exempted from Tourist Visa fee from 25 June B.E. 2552 (2009) to 4 March B.E. 2553(2010)

Such arrangement is for Tourist Visa only
Announcement : New immigration rules
Thai Temple
Passport holders from 41 countries and 1 special administrative region - Hong Kong SAR - are not required to obtain a visa when entering Thailand for tourism purposes and will be permitted to stay in the Kingdom for a period of not exceeding 30 days on each visit. If such foreigners enter the Kingdom at the immigration checkpoints which border neighboring countries, they will be allowed to stay for 15 days each time More details in English version and in Thai version.
